Your Careers Adviser can talk through the various options available to you and help you plan your careers pathway. Your Adviser has the skills to discuss your interest and abilities as well as your skills , interests and talents and help you come to a careers decision and then enable you to move forward to succeed in your career goal. The Careers Adviser has information on handouts, websites and local knowledge of employers colleges and training providers which is continually updated.
In school there is a the LRC which has Careers Resources. Also the LRC Manager posts Apprenticeship Vacancies on a weekly basis as well as other employment and careers news. So check out the LRC for up to date news on careers and vacancies.

What are your options?
- Stay in full time education – Sixth Form or College.
- Do an Apprenticeship or Traineeship
- get a full time job and study part time.

Local sixth forms
The majority of Yr 11’s at Ripon Outwood will progress to the Sixth Form .
